I have been beekeeping since 1977 as a result of a gift of 6 hives and equipment from my father as a high school graduation present. My wife (Anna) and I have around 60 hives at present, with plans to expand to 100. A majority of our hives are located at the farm, but we also place them in out-yards around the area.

We sell our local honey, creamed honey, and honey straws at local specialty shops in the area, and at local farmer's markets.

In the off-season, we offer beginners beekeeping classes to those who want to start beekeeping. We also provide starter hives, package bees, and nucleus colonies.

We also farm 100 acres of corn and soybeans using regenerative farming methods that use cover crops that the bees can make honey from before planting. We also have some of our acreage devoted to CRP pollinator habitat to benefit the bees and other pollinators.

We also offer small group tours of the farm by appointment.
