Raven Hooves Farm Wool Fertilizer Pellets

We are a small fiber farm in Southeastern Ohio. We pride ourselves on no fleece left behind. The best part of the fleece becomes yarn or is sold as washed fiber for spinners and fiber artists. The second cuttings or less desirable parts of the fleece becomes wool dryer balls and felted Christmas ornaments. Finally, the skirtings are turned into wool fertilizer pellets. We waste nothing of the fleece.

Currently we raise Shetlands and Finnsheep but often partner with other shepherds to provide a wider selection of fiber sheep fleeces.

100% wool fertilizer pellets

Each bag contains 1 pound

Wool is shredded and then ran through a pelletizer mill, turning wool into a natural fertilizer for your garden and house plants.

Wool pellets can hold up to 20x their weight in water. This helps to reduce watering.

Wool naturally contains 9% nitrogen and 2% soluble potash

9-0-2

Mix 1/2 cup of pellets to 1 gallon of soil or sprinkle around existing plants. Also works great to place into seed trays when starting your plants
