Hamakua Apiaries manages 500 beehives across the Big Island of Hawaii. The Big Island hosts 10 of the world's 14 micro-climates and it's this diversity allows us to produce tropical honeys that are unique only to Hawaii. Additionally, in 2015 the Big Island legislatively became a GMO-free island, which allows us to produce GMO free honey. We pride ourselves for the quality of our honey bees, our management practices, and the honeys the bees produce. We currently harvest 5 varietal honeys that are Raw and Unfiltered: Macadamia Nut Honey (limited harvest) Wilelaiki Honey Ohia Lehua Honey Hawaiian Eucalyptus Honey (limited harvest) Hawaiian Wild Flower Honey You can order a four varietal sample pack of our honeys. The honey is primarily sold in 5 gallon buckets for $185 or 2 gallon pails for $96, plus shipping. If you would like to order buckets of honey call us or order from our website.
