CSA: Hippie Holler Farm CSA

Hippie Holler Farm CSA is more than just vegetables. It's an adventure of eating in a simpler, more authentic way.

Most Hippie Holler Farm CSA members join because they want to be 100% sure that the food their family eats is safe, healthy, farm fresh delicious, and grown with respect to the earth. .

The produce we grow never travels more than 20 miles from our farm to your CSA basket.

The Hippie Holler Farm CSA season lasts for 18 weeks. Each week you'll receive an overflowing ½ bushel basket of freshly harvested seasonal vegetables and herbs. When available, we will include small fruits, mushrooms, and eggs from happy chickens.

We aim for your CSA basket to include at least 6-8 different vegetables and herbs each week. We typically grow 200+ different varieties, so you will feast on old-time favorites and discover new culinary delights from around the world.

The $540 share price works out to be $30 per week. We believe this is a fair price for a bountiful basket of freshly harvested, pesticide-free produce, lovingly grown by farmers you know.

The CSA share will replace much of your fresh produce needs during the season--and therefore a big chunk of your produce grocery bill. Most of our CSA members consider the share cost to be part of their grocery budget.

Early signup discounts are available, as well as installment payment plans. If you are having cash flow problems but want to join our CSA, talk to us. We will consider any reasonable payment plan.

A few work shares are available by application and personal interview.

We provide our CSA members with weekly email newsletters, a swap table, recipes both simple and gourmet, and access to a community of friendly, like-minded people.
