I'm a breast cancer survivor, and as such, my husband and I decided we needed to be a lot more familiar with the food we eat. We were already exploring our own honey production, but by summer 2018 we expanded this to acquiring 6 pullets. Over the summer of 2020, we moved from our suburban backyard to 17.3 acres. We've expanded our flock from 6 hens to a growing flock of over 14 birds. Our vision is to have a meadery, with lots of fruit trees and grape vines. We also want to have an abundance of vegetables from an aquaponics system. We'd love to have a cow or two, &/or some goats, so we can have cheese, milk, yogurt, and butter. What we offer the public is the same food we eat. We strongly encourage you to follow our Facebook page, where you can get to know our growing farm, and feel more and more familiar with the source of your food. That's something you don't usually get from products you buy at a conventional store.
