CSA: Holloman Produce Farm

Thank you very much for your interest in Holloman Produce Farm! 2013 Shares are available for sale now; please contact us or visit our website for details. We have convenient pick-up locations in Hoffman Estates and Mt. Prospect, Illinois, plus at the farm in Hanover (we are still the only CSA in JoDaviess County, IL).

Our shareholders receive a large box of our finest quality chemical-free produce once every 2 weeks from June through mid-October. Shareholder preferences (likes, dislikes, and special requests) are honored whenever possible. Boxes almost always include salad greens, plus whatever else is in season at the time, which includes vegetables, fruit, and herbs. Also may include pumpkins, popcorn, and ornamental corn in the fall.

Special Note: If you shop around, you will find that our CSA share prices are among the least expensive available anywhere. Our lower prices do not mean lower quality, but are simply a result of our desire to make fresh, wholesome produce more widely available to average-income families.

Special Note #2: A common complaint we have heard about CSAs is that they overwhelm their members with too much food. That is why our boxes are delivered once every TWO weeks, rather than every week. That way, our members can enjoy and appreciate our top quality produce without feeling like they are drowning in it!
