The Cornett family has been breeding and raising cattle in Oregon since the early 1800's. Jack and Joyce Cornett and their family retired to Ellijay in 1982, and after building their homes began raising and showing Quarter Horses.
Jack and Joyce have since passed on, but Michael and Janie Cornett continue to work the ranch boarding horses and raising heritage breeds of sheep for breeding and meat. We also raise and sell free range chickens and their eggs. Janie has always had an organic garden raising herbs and vegetables and loves to milk her goats to make cheese and kefer. They have both always had a passion for natural and organic health food and believe in the importance of knowing where our food comes from.
