Smyler's Farm in Pensacola, Florida uses all-natural and traditional methods, including diversified crops and consideration for natural wildlife including pollinators. The farm is operated by Bob Smyres, and all of the work is done using manual tools (no tractor). Heritage breeds of seeds are focused on. Some of the crops we grow are various herbs including dill, cilantro, dill, sage, basil, peppermint, and nettles. Vegetables such as beans, corn, squash, tomatoes, Peas and Okra. Also we grow salad greens and flowers such as sunflowers, marigolds, and zinnias.
I use natural methods to grow vegetables and herbs with no pesticides and using mostly traditional manual methods of farming on a small scale. Seasonally there are different items available. We also have handcrafted garden boxes for sale, river-cane for trellises (or fishing poles), and more. I specialize in herbs and salads such as kale, sage, peppermint, lemon balm, basil, cilantro, and mustard greens.
