We are a group of students that started an 1,500 square foot rooftop farm at Brandeis to promote local agriculture. Much of our produce will be donated to homeless shelters and people in low income housing developments, but we are selling CSA shares to make the project economically sustainable.
The farm was founded in 2015 after Michael Pollan's "The Omnivore's Dilema" inspired us to think about where our food comes from. We created the farm using a substantial grant from the school's sustainability fund, and we continue to independently manage it.
Please contact us if you are interested in our CSA or learning more about the farm. Please use the listed email address.
Once you enter the Brandeis campus, take a right on the loop road and continue until you reach the Science Parking Lot. The rooftop farm is up the stairs that lead to a red squared roof overlooking the lot.
