The Illinois Independent Consumers and Farmers Association -
This group is dedicated to
- promoting and preserving unregulated, direct farmer-to-consumer trade that fosters the availability of locally grown and/or home produced food products in Illinois,
- oppose any government funded or managed NAIS (National Animal Identification System) program at the state as well as federal levels, and
- address the needs of both consumers and farmers in the state of Illinois in furthering this agenda.
We are not a legal organization, but an advocacy group based on member involvement in the political and economic process.
IICFA is currently a legal business entity within the State of Illinois. We are awaiting notification of our 501 status.
