IMAN Fresh Beats and Eats Farmers' Market

Inner City Muslim Action Network (IMAN) has a mission that clearly embraces all that a Farmers' Market would represent. The IMAN Fresh Beats and Eats Farmers' Market (IFBEFM) was established to provide local residents with the opportunity to buy fresh, regionally-grown farm products that are nutritious and affordable, specifically catering to the needs of Southside Chicago's diverse population. The IFBEFM intends to create a place to educate consumers on health and nutrition issues, including how food is grown, produced or processed. With all these factors combines, the IFBEFM also intends to celebrate the vitality and diversity of Chicago's Southside.
