Inwood Community Farm is a 501c3 NonProfit farm. Our mission is to be a sustainable farm, growing food to send to local area food banks, educating others about the benefits of growing/eating wholesome fresh produce, encouraging others to grow their own food, mentoring and working with local schools to develop and maintain school gardens and provide a community space for learning as well as fellowship. We grow seasonal produce, doing our best to follow organic practices in our garden, but are not certified organic at this time. Besides produce, we also have a closed flock of poultry we raise for both meat and eggs and a small group of heritage breed(s) pigs. Both our poultry and pigs are raised as naturally as possible, with access to pasture, and no antibiotics/hormones. Our produce sales are our primary source of fundraising, to support our community projects (food donations, etc.) School groups, home school or other interest groups and individuals are welcome to utilize the farm to incorporate into your educational activities (please inquire). Visitors welcome, as well as volunteers!
