The Iowa Food Cooperative is a web-based marketplace for Iowa-grown food and products. We do this via an on-line order system located on the IFC website. Our central distribution site is on Franklin Ave. in Des Moines. We have five other locations for order pick-up: Albia, Ames, Ankeny, Sherman Hill, West Des Moines, and Osceola.

We currently have over a thousand products from more than 130 different Iowa farmers/producers! Order what you like; never any minimums or requirements to order. We make shopping local easy and convenient!

To be a part of the Iowa Food Cooperative, producers and consumers first need to become members. The fee to become a member is $50. After the first year, there is also an annual fee of $10, which is used for educational activities. We are waiving membership fees for a six month trial period in which you can order without paying the membership fee. Try it!

Please visit our website to become a member, to check out our current producer members and the types of products available for sale, or for more information about how the IFC works.
