JACKRABBIT Co-Op is the maturation of 20-plus years of gardening experience. The infancy of this program is now. Established 10each raised bed boxes, with work started on adding a minimum of 10each more raised bed boxes this year, and eventually exceeding 70each raised bed boxes. Additionally, Fruit trees (apple, fig, pomegranate,) and Nut trees (almond, chestnut, hazelnut, pecan) will be planted this spring/summer. Certification for "Organic" growing practices will be initiated in 2013, and the guidelines and requirements for eventual certification will be strictly adhered to, to reach and maintain "Certified Organic" status.
