We raise Berkshire Heritage breed hogs. These hogs spend their life in the woods surrounding us, free to forage and uproot in a very large area. We move them to fresh, clean ground and fresh nutrients, allowing them access to new forage. They never see the same ground twice. We practice regenerative farming practices, allowing the land to rest and recoup after it has been uprooted, trampled and soiled. We free feed them NON-GMO feed. Mostly in the shade of the trees to stay cool, with access to the sunshine when they choose. We do not use medication of any kind, unless life or death presents, thankfully we have never had to thus far. We raise them as holistically as possible. We also raise several breeds of chickens and offer their pastured eggs. All animals are rotated in electric to keep them safe and give them abundant forage. These animals feed our family as well and we expect nothing less for yours.
