We are a retail and wholesale nursery based in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, specializing in persimmons with several varieties available. During October and November, we offer a U-pick persimmon experience starting each year on October 1. Our selection includes the crisp, apple-like Asian Persimmons 'Fuyu' and the astringent 'Hachiya.' We also sell over 14 varieties of persimmon trees, along with a wide range of other fruit trees and berry bushes. Our goal is to provide quality plants at affordable prices.

Come enjoy a fall day at Advanced Nursery Growers for our annual U-Pick Persimmon season!
Our persimmons are usually ready around mid October, and U-Pick will continue until the fruit is gone. This is a great chance to bring the family, walk through the orchard, and pick fresh, sweet persimmons right from the tree.
Persimmons are a wonderful fall fruit for fresh eating, baking, freezing, and sharing with family and friends. Availability will depend on ripening and how quickly the fruit is picked, so check with us before coming if you are driving a long distance.

Located in the Panhandle of Florida minutes from I-10 about 4 miles from the Ponce de Leon Exit 96.
Coming from Ponce De Leon go South on HWY 81 , turn right onto CB Whitehead Road ( about a mile south of I-10 on HWY 81S), go to the stop sign take a right, go about 1/2 just past Douglas Cross Road Park, turn left onto McLeod Road, we are the third place on the right.
Coming from Defuniak Springs on HWY 90, go east toward Argyle, turn south on 183S ( by Melhorns Convenience Store) go over the railroad track and stay on 813S until you cross over I-10, take the first road to the left, then the first road to the right, we are the third place on the right.
Coming from Freeport take HWY 331 North to HWY 90, go right /East toward Ponce DeLeon, turn right on HWY 183 S ( at Argyle) cross over the railroad track, stay on 183S until you cross over I-10, take the first left onto Douglas Crossroad, go about a mile, then turn right onto McLeod Road, we are the 3rd place on the right.
