We are looking forward to the 2024 blueberry picking season. Thank you everyone, who came out to pick blueberries this past year. If you would like to schedule a farm tour (on or off season) please contact us to set that up. Please check our website for the latest information about our farm. www.hartapiaries.com

We sell honey, beeswax, and beeswax candles on the beekeeping side and we have blueberries. You can stop by to visit and purchase directly from us or you can email us your order. We currently accept cash, credit cards, and money orders. We offer farm tours (must call in advance to schedule tour) of our operation and we also give talks about honeybees. We are closed Saturdays but most of the rest of the time we are around.

Photography Opportunities: We are blessed to be located where we have outstanding sunset views from late October through mid March. The fruit trees and blueberry bushes bloom in the spring, usually late March into early May. During that time there will be bees working the flowers. The bees are not interested in stinging but stings can still happen. If you have allergies to stings it is best to come prepared because we are not close to an ER or Urgent Care facility. It is best to not use flowery scented soaps, shampoos, body washes, and fragrances since that may elicit closer inspection by our flying friends.
Note: Photography opportunities are by appointment only and we ask $25 per session.

In the fall we usually have a few Paw Paws that we harvest. If you are interested in Paw Paws please email us your contact information. The season is variable (late August into early September).

We have limited quantities of fresh mint and lemon balm from mid summer through frost.

We can speak about honeybees, pollen, honey, swarms and other related topics. We require advanced notice to speak. We normally use PowerPoint but we can speak without PowerPoint if that fits your situation.

Directions from St. Clair, Missouri:

Take Highway 30 East approximately 6 miles.
Turn Right onto Highway 47
Hart Apiaries is about 6 miles down Highway 47 on the left.

Directions from St. Louis (270 northbound at Highway 30): This is faster than coming out I-44 - we have worked in St. Louis for more than 15 years and have tried both ways more than once.

Exit on Highway 30 (Gravois) and go west (left).
Follow Highway 30 until you reach Highway 47 South (left). (Watch your speed between High Ridge and House Springs the local authorities frequently have people pulled over.)

Hart Apiaries is about 6 miles down Highway 47 on the left.
More detailed directions from St. Louis (270 northbound at Highway 30): for those of you who like details.

After you exit onto Highway 30 from Highway 270, you will drive quite a distance. The road will go from 4 lane down to two lane. You will eventually reach the town of Lonedell. After you go through Lonedell, it is about 3 miles to Highway 47. Highway 47 only turns to the left.

This portion of the directions are the same for everyone coming south on 47.
As you are going down Highway 47, after about 5 1/2 miles, you will pass a fire station on the right. That is about 1/2 a mile before Hart Apiaries. The next crossroad is Yellow Dog Road on the right and Elmwood Church Road on the left. Now you are almost there. After the cross road, you will go down a hill, up a hill, and around a curve. Then you will need to start slowing down. Our mailbox is on the right, but the driveway is on the left. There is a metal gate on the driveway (that is always open). You can't really see the blueberries, until you either turn into the driveway or go past the driveway. The house is a white ranch style house with green shutters.

If you get to Huff Road where there is a big rock sign for Huff Monument, you have gone too far. Please turn around and come back.
