jinglebees is an urban apiary. All of our beehives are located on the south side of Chicago, on the Pullman State Historic Site. We believe that the future of urban agriculture lies in our ability to utilize the disused industrial sites that are so abundant in our cities. The Pullman State Historic Site includes the12-acre factory where George Pullman built his railroad empire in the late 1800's, and we are delighted to populate this historic space once again. Our bees are raised with minimal interference and we use only herbal/homeopathic medications. The honey produced by jinglebees is completely natural, unadulterated and only lightly filtered to retain its wholesomeness. Some granulation may occur, which requires only gentle heat to re-liquify. Please remember that children under 1 year of age should not eat honey - but nearly everyone else should!
