Jolie Vue Farms

Jolie Vue Farms is located in the pastoral hills of Washington County, Texas, about 80 miles northwest of Houston. In 1989, its new owners dedicated themselves to the restoration of the native grasses, clovers, flowers and herbaceous materials without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. A decade of diligence to that task allowed nature to do her work, and the farm reached the stage where the measured introduction of complementary livestock will complete the farm's restoration and transform it into a self-sustaining agricultural enterprise. Jolie Vue grows heritage cattle and pastured pigs and brings those meats, with free range chickens and eggs to your door, once a month, in an ice chest which we provide. Our creatures are not caged, but instead free-ranged in symbiotic rotation. They not only provide clean, healthy and tasty food for our buyers, but as importantly, enrich our soils and pastures by acting in harmony with nature. We are land healers and grass farmers first, because that is where wholesome food begins. We grow organic fruits and vegetables to make sure our animals eat only the best. Our CSA is easy- you can skip any month you'd like, or sign up alternate months only. We say to buy these clean, chemical free meats now or buy prescription drugs later! Our animals don't do drugs! We give farm tours once a year for CSA members.
