Artisan Food...Thoughtfully Raised. Using a rotational grazing system, we are emphasizing an environmental-friendly approach to nurture our soil and livestock health. It complements our intent to produce food that is nutrient rich with a taste our customers crave. We do this by maintaining a variety of traditional heritage breeds that roam our pastures, hay fields, and woodlots.

Our small herd of Randall Linebacks and flock of Dorset Horn sheep are grazed throughout our diverse pastures and woodlots during the growing season while overwintered on a variety of forage hay. They are given year around access to Organic Kelp and Sea Salt mixture along with copious amounts of sunshine and fresh air.

All of our poultry are raised outside on growing forage once they leave the brooder. They are rotated through our hay fields and permanent pastures and receive an additional feed supplement that is an organic (non-certified) feed containing no soy products or GMO grains.

Our hogs are allowed to forage on our permanent pastures and southern woodlot paddocks so they can exercise their desire to graze and renovate our soils.

All of our livestock and poultry are Traditional Heritage breeds chosen for their ability to thrive on pasture as well for their reputation for outstanding flavor at the dinner table. Besides the previously mentioned Randall Linebacks and Dorset Horns we also be raising Freedom Ranger chickens (a slow-growth broiler variety), American Guinea Hogs, and Red Wattle-Berkshire cross hogs.

We are a partner farmer with TC Farm (since 2012). Please visit their website for purchasing information.
