I got my first set of chicks during 2020 when I was in 6th grade. We call them my "quarantine chickens" because it was when we were out of school and distance learning during the pandemic. I had been asking my mom to let me get chickens for a long time. I wanted to raise them from chicks.

Since then, I have raised three sets of meat birds and now have more laying hens. My poultry business is my SAE project for FFA. I sell farm fresh eggs, meat birds and laying hens.
