About Jubilee Urban Farms Jubilee Farms began on the 70th Anniversary of Israel at the end of the year 5777 Jubilee. It is said planting a fruit tree in celebration will yield your life much blessing. Being in Kentucky and seeing how tomatoes are fruits, we began the business by planting organic heirloom tomatoes from rare and ancient seed strains. We have now added microgreens salads to the lineup! Since planting the tomatoes, we have branched out into hydroponics and aquaponics. We are now prepping to begin growing our produce utilizing aquaculture methods for organic hot chili peppers, including Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion, Chocolate Bhut "Ghost" Jolokia and Yellow Cayenne Peppers! We also grow wheatgrass and other microgreens hydroponically. Coming soon: chemical free, non-GMO heirloom tomatoes, strawberries and other full size vegetables and herbs to be grown hydroponically year round In August 2018, we will began microgreens, organic herbs and other heirloom fruits and vegetables as a home delivery subscription service. 1 month, three month and six month subscriptions are available with special pricing for VIP Pass Subscription members, aka the Sprouthead Army. We look forward to providing a much needed service in the western Kentucky region in regards to being able to supply local, clean and GMO free microgreens and produce for the health conscious community of Daviess County, Kentucky. Military, Veterans and first responders will receive a 10% discount on their subscriptions. We aspire to begin a community garden where children and adults will be able to learn a valuable life skill and be able to eat clean food from a sustainable urban garden, regardless of economic class. We have a right to healthy food and an obligation to take care of our own health. Not to mention, it's so much fun!
