Keeping Traditions is a small Michigan farm that raises beautiful German and English angora rabbits for their wonderful personalities and beautiful wool they produce. The German angoras are known for their wool production, and the English help add softness & natural shades of color to the wool. The angoras have been a joy for us to raise. I offer angora wool, natural and dyed, along with roving, batts, yarns and finished items like pure angora mittens. I make & sell hand spun art yarns made with natural locks from longwool sheep or mohair, & offer hand painted locks sourced from small farms where possible. All the angora wool used in my shop is from my own angora rabbits - none is outsourced. My rabbits are always sheared gently on my lap, no rabbit is harmed.
