The Kendall Farmers Market- a weekly themed farmers market that brings communities together by supporting small businesses, locally grown produce and family friendly, the Kendall Farmers Market,.Being the first of its kind, the Kendall Farmers Market plans to change the way Miami thinks about farmers markets, by bringing a new type of event or mini-festival every week, which has yet to be seen or done in South Florida. It's all about the community! A place where residents from all backgrounds and ages can have a place to go for a few hours, immerse themselves in the sights, smells, and sounds, while doing what Miamians do best, have fun in the sun, says Sarah Castillo, Owner at Aurum Infusions LLC. "I always had a dream of doing something big for the community, and it is happening right in front of my eyes! The Kendall Farmers Market is at the center of what we love most about our region, Good Food and Great People! Each week the Kendall Farmers Market brings a new event theme to entertain and/or bring awareness to the community. Monthly events range from culinary, music and arts, even hosting fundraisers for local charities and non-profits. Our upcoming, monthly events include; Block Party Week is a day for families and the community. A DJ will be playing music with many games and contests for big and little kids alike, pet adopts, the library TECHNO BUS filled with modern computer programs, such as film producing, music making, photography, graphic design, a 3D printer, and a drone! . Culinary Dayz featuring local chef demos, our version of Food Networks CHOPPED, healthy eating workshops, cook-offs and eating contests. . FAME Week (September 15, 2018) supports visual and performing art with participating student and professional artists, workshops, classes, and demos. Throughout the season (September-April), the Kendall Farmers Market is host to many community involved fundraisers and charity events, benefiting local organizations as Miami-Dade Animal Services, Live Like Bella Foundation, Miami Rescue Mission, and Nikolas Childrens Hospital.
