At Prater Ranch LLC. we raise heritage turkeys, Toulouse geese, Muscovy ducks, emu, peafowl, silver fox rabbits, and much more. We strive to produce quality animals and food for our community.
We provide hands on educational classes at our farm. We currently are providing Rabbit Husbandry, Rabbit Processing, Poultry Husbandry, Poultry Processing, Tanning, Canning and adding more classes all the time! Our classes are taught by professionals who are respected in their trades.
We work with our local 4H, FFA, Agriculture Museum as well as local schools to provide farm education and exposure. We are members of our local Rabbit club, Poultry club, fair boards, as well as the American Poultry Association, American Rabbit Breeders Association, Washington state rabbit breeders association, national silver fox club, west coast silver fox club and much more. We strive to be active in our community and support education as well as the betterment of the animal breeds we are involved in.
We also offer educational events and farm experience (for parties and events). Where we can tailor experiences to suit what your needs are. We love to share our animals and farm life with anyone who is interested.
