We are Mom & Pop, Hops & Crops, let me introduce us-I am Carol Blumberg, my husband Tom and I live in the Northeast corner of Kent County. We have lived in our 100+ year old farmhouse since 1966. We delayed starting our farming practices for two years while Tom served in the Army and also in Vietnam. When he came home we started farming, raising feeder pigs, field crops and a super large garden. I raised our three beautiful daughters with my wonderful husband Tom on our farm. When the girls were little and as they grew, we all worked on the farm together, in the fields as well as in the gardens. All of our food was grown in the garden and canned with the same love and care we put into raising the girls. God has made us stewards of our land and we feel we need to share our bounty and the knowledge of what healthy herbs and hops can do for your body. We believe we are putting together what in our hearts are some of the best naturally grown herbs and hops that can be grown. All of our herbs and hops are MAEAP verified, Non-GMO being chemically free. We are proud of this fact. We want you to be more than just a customer. We want you to be a part of our agricultural family. Our philosophy is the following; "We are all travelers from the point of birth to the point of final destiny. We hope that somehow or in someway we have instilled within you the desire to return". All the herbs and hops are hand harvested and dried in a dedicated Oast House, thus preserving the maximum amount of oils and Lupulin you can get. Other farms may offer similar herbs and hops, but ours are grown and verified by MAEAP also Non-GMO They are harvested at their peak just as the dew is off the plants in the morning.
