Hidden Fortress Micro Farm

Our farm is in a beautiful spot tucked away in the foothills above the "berry basket" of Watsonville in North Monterey County, California. Our focus is to create sustainably grown artisanal foods that are delicious and highly nutritious. We work hard to promote locally produced food and small family farms. We are dedicated to non-chemical farming methods, and we never use artificial inputs. Compared to the huge farms nearby, we operate on a truly tiny scale, thus we have a limited supply of eggs and produce for sale. Organic Micro Farm Fresh Local Delivery We operate a weekly direct delivery throughout Santa Cruz County. We deliver fresh produce from ours and other local farms, pasture raised eggs, plus other goodies like fresh roasted coffee, hand crafted preserves, and our own unique hand made sourdough English muffins. We deliver these bags of bounty from our micro farm every Friday except major holidays. Organic Micro Farm Roasted Coffee We custom-roast organic coffee at our farm. Organic coffee fits well with our theme of high quality, artisenal food products that are farmed by families on a small scale. We roast coffee that is grown by small scale farmers who practice organic agriculture. Our purchase of this coffee helps support our farm, our local partners, and micro-farming in the coffee growing areas of the world. Our roasting equipment uses propane and solar power, which helps to keep our carbon footprint very low.
