King William Alpacas

King William Alpacas is a medium sized farm between Colonial Williamsburg and Richmond Virginia. Our goal is to breed the rainbow with perfect conformation with fine fleece of good density and crimp. Our foundation herd was selected with these goals in mind and all our breedings are carefully chosen towards this end. We plan never to become so large that we don't know each of our alpacas by name and every animal leaving our farm is halter-broken and well behaved on a lead. We can offer our clients access to a wide selection of desirable animals and bloodlines through our very selective network of small and medium sized farms. Full service is not just an advertising slogan to us. We are committed to our client's success through their education. We sponsor and/or teach shearing, new breeders, and parasitology clinics. Each month our farm is open to visitors for herd health day. Here we provide information on basic herd health care as well as giving hands on experience trimming nails, giving shots, and body scoring. In addition to alpacas, we sell a number of other farm products. We have alpaca yarns, tops, hats, gloves, scarfs, etc. We also keep a number of bee hives and sell our own honey when it is in season. We use the bees to pollinate our heirloom vegetables which we also sell at local markets.For those looking for something different, we produce a line of all natural soaps that contain no animal by products. Please feel free to schedule a visit. We enjoy meeting people just thinking about alpacas as well as new and veteran breeders. We welcome school and church tours as well.
