CSA: Kneehigh Farm

Each CSA week is different and unique, depending on the season. At Kneehigh Farm, we try and strike a balance between introducing new varieties, and providing staple crops, so our members don't feel discouraged or overburdened by produce.

Market style CSA pick-up is similar to shopping at a Farmers' Market or Farm Stand, and is offered at both our on-farm and farmers' market pick-up locations. Every week, a "suggested share" will be posted at pick-up for each share size (this is what the weekly newsletter recipes are based on). These items, as well as additional veggies harvested that week, will be displayed. You will have the option to 1. Customize your entire share 2. Stick to the suggested share, or 3. Swap out a few veggies in the suggested share for items that you enjoy, or for something you're unfamiliar with.

Additional produce available to purchase at 10% discount at these locations. Here's what to expect throughout the year:

Spring: Arugula, Asian greens, baby lettuce, beets, broccoli, bunching onions/scallions, cabbage (green, red, savoy, napa), carrots, chard, collards, cauliflower, dill, fennel, garlic scapes, kale, mustard greens, radishes, salad turnips, spinach, peas

Summer: Basil, beets, snap beans, carrots, celery, chard, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, cucumbers, dill, eggplant, fennel, garlic, lettuce, leeks, melons, okra, peppers (hot and bell/frying), parsley, potatoes, shallots, summer squash, tomatillos, tomatoes

Fall: Arugula, lettuce, beets, broccoli, snap beans, cabbage, carrots, celeriac, chard, cilantro, collards, cauliflower, dry beans, dill, eggplant, fennel, kale, leeks, mustard greens, peppers, parsley, parsnips, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, rutabaga, salad turnips, shallots, spinach, storage onions, salad turnips, wintr turnips, winter squash
