Once we begin harvest we harvest each Tuesday with pick up on Wed. at our home address between 800 am and 6:30 pm. The harvest begins with an assortment of greens, lettuce, cabbage, onions, and beets. As these phase out broccoli, cabbage, potatoes, onions and lettuce began to come in with more abundance. Then corn, beans, okra, tomatoes, and eggplant begin to mature and some of these continue for more weeks as the summer progresses. We end up with a harvest of our sweet potatoes. This year we plan on planting some collards for late fall and/or early winter eating. All produce is grown on the farm and we grow on plastic so we keep it watered and fertilized according to soil test. The only insecticide we use is liquid Sevin for the potato beetle and later on okra for the Japanese beetle. We put the rinsed produce in individual baskets and place in the cooler until pick up the next day. We only have two shares left for 2016 so if you are interested we must hear from you by April 1st 2016. If you need more info you can check out our facebook page.
