Our honey comes from our bees located along Barton Creek and on cattle ranches in Travis, Caldwell and Bastrop County where we have our Texan Honey Farm LLC. We are a local Central Texas honey farm and have a roadside stand that is open all day and works on the honor system.

Honey for grocery stores is filtered and pasteurized to remove sugar crystals, air bubbles, particles of beeswax and pollen. It gives a longer shelf life without granulation and a better appearance for consumer appeal.

We coarse filter (strain) honey to remove large debris, but do not fine filter liquid honey. Our honey is not graded and could not pass for U.S. Grade A Fancy because of the particle content. All honey labeled U.S. Grade A Fancy is highly processed and much of it is imported.
