MountainRose Vineyard is a family owned and operated farm offering farm tours everyday but Sunday during the growing season. MountainRose Vineyards is located on the Appalachian Plateau with wonderful mountain and vineyard views making it a scenic place to picnic near the pond and the roses or on the patio with a glass of wine and some cheese. We have a Roses Tour in June and a "Pick your Own" Concord Grape Festival In September. We use sustainable farming practices throughout the vineyard. Several acres of tne farm are on "reclaimed" mine land, land once mined for coal, which has become a mineral rich soil perfect for growing grapes. Our use of compost and extensive cover crop practices make the quality of wines.
