🌿 Lazy River Lavender
Madera, California – Family Owned • Woman Owned • Sustainably Grown
Lazy River Lavender is a small, family-owned lavender farm nestled along the San Joaquin River in California’s Central Valley. Our ranch overlooks open riverbottom land with views stretching toward the Sierra Nevada and Table Mountain. What began with 100,000 plants has grown into thousands of sustainably cultivated lavender plants rooted in legacy, resilience, and renewal.
Our land has been in our family since 1933. After life-changing seasons and a return home during COVID, Lazy River Lavender was born from a desire to create something peaceful, purposeful, and healing.
We grow primarily Lavandula x intermedia ‘Grosso’, known for its long stems, deep fragrance, and beautiful purple blooms — perfect for bouquets, and aromatherapy. We also grow more than five thousand plants of Lavendula angustifolia in seven varieties known for their delicate fragrance deep color and uses in culinary items. We also grow and cultivate all of our varieties for purchase in many sizes
