LeftCoast Grassfed offers 100 percent grass-fed and grass-finished beef. Our beef is certified American Grassfed Association and Animal Welfare Approved. We never use pesticides or herbicides on any of our ranches or antibiotic or hormones on our animals.
We raise Angus and Hereford cows, which provides a tender finished product. We use planned grazing to help promote perennial grasses, improve water storage in the soil, and enhance biodiversity.
Because our beef is grass-finished, it has been shown to have a superior nutritional profile with lower total fat and calories; higher in beta-carotene; higher in vitamin E; higher in total omega-3s; higher in B-vitamins thiamin and riboflavin; and higher in the minerals calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
We are located just a few miles inland from the Pacific Ocean in the lush, rolling hills of Pescadero and San Gregorio. Our goal is to provide healthy food on working lands that sustains the planet and inspires others to action.

We sell our beef in 50 pounds or 25 pounds of assorted steaks, roasts, and ground beef, or you can buy 25 pounds of ground beef (in 1 pound packages). All our beef is USDA inspected and vacuum packaged for freshness at an Animal Welfare Approved slaughterhouse.
We also well individual cuts at the following farmers markets:
Downtown Santa Cruz (Wednesdays 1:30-6:30; year-round)
Westside Santa Cruz f(Saturdays 9-1; year-round)
Downtown Palo Alto (Saturdays 8-12; May through December)
