Heritage Hog Co

We offer whole and half-shares of forest-raised heritage breed hogs. Our breeds are a mix of Duroc, Old Spot, and Hampshire. The pigs are born, raised, and finished here at our farm in the foothills of the South Mountains. Allowing the pigs to grow and live in a stress-free, natural environment, produces high-quality, healthy, and amazingly tasty meat.

Our farm consists of half pastures, and half woods, roughly speaking. We have chose to raise the pigs mostly in the wooded areas, thus providing them with the most natural habitat possible for them to grow, live, and thrive. They live entirely outdoors, root around in the dirt, run and play, wallow in the mud, sleep beneath the shade of the trees in the warmer months, or bask in the warmth of the sun in cooler months. Simply put, they get to be pigs and do what pigs naturally enjoy doing.

Our mission is to raise happy, healthy pigs in a natural and peaceful setting by providing them the resources and care necessary to thrive, and to provide our customers naturally and sustainably raised pork of the highest quality.
