CSA: Letterbox Farm Collective

PICKUP LOCATION: At Letterbox Farm, 4161 US 9, Hudson (2 miles from downtown).

PICKUP TIMES: Saturdays, 10-12, June 6th through Oct. 17th.

PRICE: Twenty weeks for $1040, payable by June 1.

:: WHATS IN A SHARE ::

MEATS: Members receive a whole chicken every other week and can use their flex points at any time to pick up pork, parted chickens, and rabbit. All of our livestock are raised on pasture and fed Certified Non-GMO feeds from a local mill.

SEASONAL VEGETABLES: 3-5 items provided per share. We choose our varieties with care and aim to provide vegetables that are rich in color, flavor, and heritage. An incomplete list includes: candystripe beets, rainbow carrots, sugar snap peas, watermelon radish, salad turnips, pattypans, pickling cukes, big tomatoes, little tomatoes, eggplants, sweet & frying peppers, celery, fennel & all manner of roots.

COOKING GREENS: kale & chard, chicories, cabbages, stir-fry greens.

SALAD GREENS: Letterbox twenty-green salad mix, lettuces, special baby greens, shoots.

ALLIA, HERBS & SPICES: Flavorful components to make a meal. Includes spring & storage onions, scallions, chives, garlic, leeks, herb bundles, chiles, soup stock kits, and dried spices.

EGGS: Choose a dozen chicken eggs, a half dozen duck eggs, or a package of quail eggs each week.

STARCHES: 1 provided per week. Potatoes, squash, sweet potatoes, eating pumpkins, and cornmeal, plus flours and grains from neighboring farms.
