Arden Farms is family owned and started in 1957 as a cattle and pine tree farm in south Mississippi. Registered Angus were bred for several years and then switched to commerical cattle, but at present we only have Honey Bees and Reg. Dorper sheep owned by Charles & Terri Wilson. Honey Bees have been a part of the farm since the late 40's for personal use until 1989 when present owners began to increase numbers to approx. 200 colonies. The sheep are mostly sold as breeding stock with some being forage finished and sold as lamb delivered for processing.

Dorper Sheep are a hair (shedding) sheep from south Africa bred for their high quality gourmet meat and excellent hides. They are heavy muscled much more so than other hair breeds of sheep.
Honey -- is the all natural sweetner that has many benefits as raw and unfiltered. Honey that has been processed whether local or not loses many of its benefits.
