Camp Joy Garden

Camp Joy Garden is a small, organic family farm that is run as an educational non-profit organization. Since 1971 we have been teaching ourselves and others how to live more sustainable lives through gardening, animal husbandry, food preservation, and other skills of simple living. We offer nine month garden apprenticeships as well as shorter classes, on a variety of topics, for children and adults. We also host delicious farm dinners during the summer months. The fruits of our labor are sold to people in the Santa Cruz Mountains when adundant. In the spring we hold plants sales offering a selection of annual vegetable, flower & herb starts specific for our area. We often have one gallon perennials of some of the same established plants you enjoy as you stroll through the garden. In the fall we hold our annual open house and wreath sale where we offer many handcrafted value added products that are perfect for the holidays! It is a event which showcases all that the season has produced. We also are available to arrange flowers for small weddings and other special events.
