Hidden Villa

We have an organic vegetable CSA and we sell meat - Lamb, pork, chicken and turkey through our online store. All of our meat is pasture-raised or grass-fed, and always hormone and antibiotic free. the lambs only eat grass and grass hay, and the pigs and chickens eat certified organic grain. Chickens and turkeys are processed here on the farm.

An educational nonprofit stretching over 1600 acres of open space in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains, Hidden Villa offers unique Experiential Education and Responsible Agriculture programs in a setting that promotes engagement, connection and understanding. Every year, 30,000 people participate in one of our programs and an additional 20,000 visitors come to explore our organic farm and gardens, greet our farm animals and hike our beautiful trails. We welcome school groups, summer campers, family gatherings, corporate volunteers and anyone looking for an escape and a respite.

Hidden Villa founders Frank and Josephine Duveneck offered their property as a gathering place for discussion, reflection and the incubation of social reform in the 1920?s. Building upon this important legacy, Hidden Villa remains a place that values inclusion, diversity, understanding, and respect. There?s a place at the table for everyone where lively discussion, debate and collaboration is encouraged. Hidden Villa?s staff of talented educators utilize our vast array of programs as a means to reinforce these values, creating allies and advocates of a just and sustainable future.

We also offer farm tours and weekend programming, as well as tours for school groups and a summer camp. We have lots of volunteer opportunities.
