Saddle Ridge Farm is a family-run, sustainable farm in the Culpeper, VA area. We provide natural meats without added hormones, antibiotics or man-made additives. Absolutely no GMO! Pastured Pork: Our goal is to provide you the most delicious pork you have ever tasted and do it in a way that's good for you and good for the pigs! We believe in raising pigs in their natural woodland setting, free of hormones & antibiotics. No confined barns - just the sky, pasture, old oak trees and healthy soil! Woodland raising adds real value to the meat, and to the quality of the animal's life. You can actually taste the difference! Fresh Eggs: Did you know? Eggs from pastured hens contain up to 20 times more healthy omega-3 fatty acids, 10 percent less fat, 40 percent more vitamin A, and 34 percent less cholesterol than store bought eggs. Beef: Our cattle are 100% grass fed, year round. They graze on fresh green pastures daily during the growing season and are given hay in the winter months. They are free of antibiotics, hormones & steroids & have access to fresh water at all times. Their meat is tender, juicy & flavorful! Broilers: Cornish cross broilers, these birds are raised only in the summer and 100% on range. Our premium Cornish Cross birds are free range in the summer and provide fresh pasture to dine on daily. We don't use antibiotics, medications, growth hormones or stimulants, no animal by-products or fish meal. All feed is premium locally grown corn, soybeans, vitamins and minerals.
