Mepo Mushrooms is a mushroom farm built in a 15,000 square foot wooden grain elevator in Mediapolis, Iowa.
We have year-round production of oyster mushrooms and will soon be adding other varieties to our product mix.
Our goal is to grow and sell the highest quality mushrooms in the region, one we hope to accomplish with our new modern facility which includes a laboratory room, inoculation room, steam pasteurization room and modified atmosphere packaging system to keep our products fresher longer.

Currently we produce oyster mushrooms only. We have plans to add other varieties as well as a line of kamboucha drinks as soon as early January 2015.
We are looking for feedback from potential customers, so please let us know if there are certain varieties you would like us to produce. If there is enough demand for a certain species or type of mushroom, we will do what we can to add it to our product mix.
