Maple Crest Farm

John Elwell, a semi-retired education administrator, has always wanted to keep the farm in the family and the family on the farm. To that end, he has invested heavily in keeping the crops thriving and helping his relatives stay nearby. Maple Crest Farm is located at 102 Moulton Street in West Newbury, MA. Maple Crest's primary crops are STRAWBERRIES of different varieties and Christmas Trees. For the 2012 season Maple Crest features Sparkle, Darselect and Cavendish strawberries. Maple Crest strawberries are sought after by farmers' markets throughout the North Shore and this year, John will be making his strawberries available for pick-yourself customers as well. Children are most welcome. We hope to see you out in the field! Just bring yourself and your preferred sunscreen and bug spray. We supply cartons, drinking water and some lovely tree shade for picnics looking over the reservoir when your picking is done!
