Maple K Farms was established in 1936 in the lush rolling hills of the Palouse. We provide natural grass fed beef by raising Highland cattle originally from Scotland. Their meat is known for its lean healthy attributes as well as the rich robust flavor. We are committed to sustainable farming practices which include environmental responsibility, animal welfare, and maintaining locally grown foods in our community. Our cattle are raised on lush open pastures with abundant cool clear streams and springs, the way nature intended. The cattle receive a tag or tattoo at birth and records are kept on their health and well being from birth to harvest. It has been said that they only have one bad moment in their lives. Our Highland beef is available twice a year spring and fall by the quarter, half, or whole. It is dry aged a minimum 10 days then cut, wrapped, and frozen to your specifications by a state certified meat cutting establishment. We invite our potential patrons to come tour our farm to prove that we walk the talk. Our naturally grown grass fed, grass finished Highland beef is strictly available from the farm.
