Maple Shade Farm is located in the beautiful town of Groton Massachusetts. We are a family run farm and have been since 1915. We have traveled many different avenues in farming and livestock including raising chickens, cattle, pigs, and horses.
Seven years ago we decided to try a different road with livestock. We began raising Boer Goats.What started as a hobby has grown into 100 Registered Fullblood and Registered Percentage Boer Goats.
We wanted livestock who would utilize our farm land to it's potential and also be very versatile in marketing. We have scored all of that with Boer Goats. From breeding quality to the best of meat ( chevon ) our goats produce top quality.
We also breed excellent quality New Zealand and New Zealand cross meat rabbits. These are available either packaged or live.

Our Chevon ( Goat Meat ) is available year round. We have specific cuts. We will work with you to determine what your specific needs are, wether it be a whole carcass or packaged meats.
We also offer packaged and state certified Rabbit meat.
Both Goat and rabbit meats are very lean and are extremely tasty and healthy meat options.

Our number one focus is the health and happiness of our animals. All of our animals are pasture based when weather permits, and are raised on a special well balanced diet including free choice minerals. Everyone of our animals are guaranteed healthy, free of hormones and antibiotics.
