At Marian Kay Berry Farm we are dedicated to growing the highest quality blackberries, raspberries and tree fruits. This requires great care of the soils and the best nutrients available. We advertise and encourage You-Pick for our berries in season and love the people who come with their children and with their elderly to pick, eat, and enjoy their time together in the field.
We are members of NARBA (North American Raspberry Blackberry Association and are associated with professors at Ohio State Extensions helping us attain our quality goals. We have also planted 18 Hazelnut trees, 50 Aspragus crowns, and are planning to extend our farms capacities into other specialty fruits and vegetables.
Because we have honey bees we are especially sensitive to the use of pesticides. Even so, with the growing threat from SWD's and other foreign introduced pests that destroy healthy berrys we may be required to use a pesticide. Even so, we have the opportumity to use more environment and bee friendly products. These choices plus closely following user guidelines removes the risk folks are often concerned about. We welcome
