Maries Farm is a small family farm, located in a fertile valley along the Pescadero Creek in Pescadero. The farm focuses on sustainable agriculture sustainable living and a sustainable future. The farm utilizes spring fed drinking water, solar hot water,off the grid electricity and hybrid gas/hydrogen powered tractors. Of the 120 acres of land only about 10 acres are farmed. We irrigate some fields with a gravity reservoir system. There is a young 3 acre orchard mostly of apple, pear and plum with many types of low chill fruit trees manacured by a group of orchard chickens, ducks and geese.
