Community Farmers' Market of Blacksburg

Community Farmers Market opened in June 2013 by a group of native farmer's market vendors compassionate to expand access to local foods in the community. CFM is a community driven farmer's market that embodies the essence of collaboration and circular leadership with vendors, farmers, consumers, community members, and the CFM board. We always welcome your insight, suggestions, and volunteering your time to the market. Our mission is to expand Farmers Market opportunities for local farmers, food producers & artisans, accommodate community needs, and to expand consumption of nutritious, local fresh foods in the New River Valley Region. Our vision is to create a vibrant, community-supported market that supports local farms & businesses and connects community members and local farms together; sustaining the growth of Farms & Markets for future generations by establishing partnerships and providing ongoing education to help sustain the health and well-being of community members, contribute to economic growth and provide nutritional support starting from the soil up. Produce: naturally grown certified, organic, bio friendly Vendors: passionate about what they do and about nutritional wholesome foods Customer: the community
