Silver Lining Hereford Beef

We have a small herd of Registered Polled Hereford Cattle. We have sold sides of beef for many years and started selling beef by the package about 7 years ago. Our beef is fed some grain to give it flavor and tenderness without excessive fat. We do not administer any steroids or hormones to the animals nor do we feed any antibiotics. If an animal receives any medication for illness or injury, we double the withdrawal time before processing. Our beef is processed at a USDA inspected plant. It is vacuum sealed and kept frozen until ready to use. We are a yearly stop on the "Miami County Kansas Farm Tour" and We participate in the "Paola Kansas Farmers Market". Local deliveries are possible in certain cases or can be picked up.
