Our bison farm is located in the southern Virginia piedmont near the head waters of the Nottoway River. The bison herd is composed of animals from wild herds in North Dakota and Texas. They are 100% bison. They are also 100% grass fed. During the summer they graze on pasture and, in the winter they eat organic locally sourced hay.
For harvest I use a local butcher and only use humane field harvest. I work with the butcher as an added service. I offer shares ranging from 1/8 to a whole bison.
