Metchosin Farm has the largest selection of heirloom tomato starts on Vancouver Island. Our seeds for the tomatoes, flowers and vegetable starts are all grown here on the farm, so over many generations these plants gradually adapt to our cooler climate. We also inocculate our tomatoes and fruit bushes with a beneficial mycchorizal fungi that helps these plants to grow stronger and produce more than non-inocculated plants.
